Nicholas Marchese is an award-winning filmmaker and producer whose work has premiered and screened globally. He’s produced feature films, short films, commercial projects, and TV Pilots. He’s pitched to and collaborated with all the top networks. He’s a brand ambassador and producer for a number of leading industry names including Blackmagic Design, Fujifilm, Azden Audio, Kondor Blue, amongst others. As the founder of MFF, he strives to continue to create opportunities for filmmakers to connect and grow their careers.
With more than 20 years of experience working with a wide variety of clients across a myriad of industries, Chris has worked on projects such as short and long-form documentaries, lifestyle branded digital content, government videos for the US Army, internal and external corporate videos, 2d and 3d animations, and sizzle reels. He is currently the Creative Director at Solari Creative.
Daniel is a lifelong Eatontown resident who has been involved in the arts and technology since he was a child. He worked at his high school tv station creating the daily morning announcement program. He was the head of the media team for the Silver Bay Presbyterian Youth Conference from 2001-2008. Daniel has photographed shows for the Holmdel Theatre Company since 2016 and was the DP for a local feature. Since 2016 he's served on the board of MFF.
A film lover first and filmmaker second - having lived in four countries and traveled to over 20 others, Nicholas enjoys perspectives from all around the globe when it comes to cinema. As a teenager living overseas on a military base he would often rent five movies at once and watch them over the weekend - a skill he uses regularly as the Submissions Director. His favorite directors include Akira Kurosawa, John Singleton, Steven Soderbergh, and Kelly Reichardt. Nicholas works as a freelance filmmaker and a Project Manager at a video production company.
Mary is a graduate of the New York Institute of Finance. Her extensive background in finance and accounting spans back to her beginnings at the New York Stock Exchange as a Regional Balancer for Paine Webber and Securities Settlement. She’s a licensed travel agent and administrative office manager for her husband’s commercial construction company. She is proud to bring her decades of finance experience to the MFF team and help manage the funding initiatives each year.
Nicole started as a Monmouth Film Festival intern and is now our Publicity Coordinator. She graduated from Kean University with a degree in psychology and communications, and a passion for storytelling. She has worked in book PR and as a production assistant for Comcast, as well as creates art of her own.
With over a decade of commercial video production and broadcast experience, working alongside some of the industry's largest networks, Patrick is glad to be a part of the film festival family, ensuring the successful streaming and broadcasting of the organizations events.
Rich Marchese is a residential and commercial contractor with over 40 years of industry experience managing projects and operations small and large. He brings his skills to the operations team of MFF, ensuring a successful event each year.
Cathy is a retired pharmaceutical research scientist and has lived in Monmouth Country for over 20 years. She serves as an active member of several local organizations namely, HABcore in Red Bank, a non-profit focused on sheltering and feeding the homeless of Monmouth and Ocean Countries, Sanctuary Soup Kitchen of Freehold, Count Basie Center for the Arts and Two River Theater. She enjoys all aspects of the arts and serving on proactive community service organizations.
My name is Thomas Conti. I am the Live Events producer at MFF. I have worked with for the festival going on three years and have loved it more each year. I Just recently graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in television Radio production.
Kent Turner, the editor of Film-Forward, learned the ropes of the festival circuit at the San Francisco International Film Festival and has worked in film production and acquisition in Los Angeles. He is currently the director of programming at the Monmouth Film Festival.
